Intelligent analysis of quarterly financials particularly by posters who have not been seen here before as well as the usual non holders who dedicate most of their time to talk down MHM business fail to notice several important facts.

The Moolap facility has to be considered as technology/process development, test and demo plant.
What matters are the US and global expansion, the scale of which makes the local processing nearly irrelevant.
It will be those international deals and profit margins which will make some of us financially secure.
Depending on how the contracts, our profits may depend on the future price for aluminium and AL80.

During the quarter, processing at Moolap was interrupted due to plant upgrade which now includes black dross processing capability (my understanding).
We do not know if, when and how much of black dross would be processed at Moolap but it would alter the scale and profit calculation.

Recent posts by magix66 show that Alcoa is preparing arrangements to ship salt slag from NSW (the largest aluminim recycling plant in Australia) to Moolap.

This confirms recent management update indicating they were discussing the sourcing of additional material to be processed at Moolap.

The only danger is that at current SP level the company is a target for the right offer to convince the directors and other major holders to sell the technology to the Americans. This would not be the first for Australian innovation to move to US where it seems they often are better skilled in making a buck from world changing technologies, while we are panicking at how on earth will we be able to organize 10 or 20 million in capital to conquer the world - how narrow minded is that?
