    Grange is far less depth, don't confuse a length of a drive (tunnel) with depth below the surface.
    The gradients for drives for rubber wheeled vehicles is usually 1:8 to 1:9. since the length of the drive (2420m) is now complete then its reasonable to assume a depth below the surface of 300 metres. The cost of this drive was some $15 million and has been paid out of cashflow. The crosscuts will be through the ore body so its iron ore which will be made into pellets, so will partly offset costs.
    The drive is already large enough to transport the ore at 5.5m wide and 5.8m height.
    Yes the mine in Sweden cost $2.3 billion but its 3 to 4 times deeper and produces 10 to 15 x more iron ore than Grange will. Don't compare a mountain to a pimple.
    Even if it does cost $100 million it can be funded through cashflow, there is no need to change the Company dividend payout policy which is already meagre.
