Gotta keep up the supply of iron ore to Shagang - that's the number#1 priority for Grange.
Already delays with this development - the bosses are starting to get fidgety about it.
North Pit Opencut Reserves at 31Dec23: 16.9Mt Proved, 1.0Mt Probable
Centre Pit Opencut Reserves at 31Dec23: 15.3Mt Proved, 9.1Mt Probable
North Pit Underground Reserves at 31Dec23: 64.4Mt Probable
So we have 32.2Mt Proven Reserves - it uses 5.5 to 6Mt ore per annum to produce the 2.5Mt of pellets shipped per annum.
So they have maybe less than 6yrs in proven reserves from North Pit and Centre Pit opencuts with maybe another 2yrs in probable reserves - can't dilly dally any longer - just gotta get that NPUG development going otherwise the bosses will be making more changes at the top.
