I wouldn’t call them “grand”, equally I would have simply referenced them as being at historic highs. It’s not an unreasonable assumption that they will come down from historic highs, but the big question is when.
As many have said they cannot control treatment charges, just like they cannot control zinc price for Forex. I would rather they simply update us on performance on costs and production, these are the ones that will dictate whether they will be profitable despite the variables they can’t control.
I think they have learned a lot on updating the market. Their updates were too frequent, at times optimistic with assumptions and had too much spin. As an investor I want them to focus their energy on the ramp up and bringing down costs, not glossy investor packs.
