BITCOIN and cryptos are now linked to trading gold. Gold standard was linked to USD. Trades happen in milli seconds, when a gold miner has to dig it up, process it, pour it into and ingot, get hedging right, etc., etc., etc.
All the "smart" ones sit there in front of their screens, trading pips on "speckies". Some people go out and get their hands dirty, with hard work, to provide for the future.
Noticed bitcoin went under $40k last night. More to come? We'll see.
Russia invades the Ukraine, North Korea interballistic rocket goes off course, AND, the truth comes out about China. Inflation goes bunta, house prices collapse, OUCH.
Always the contrarion (Keynes), gold will become a safe haven again. But what would I know? So next payday, (well earned this week working outside in 37c heat, will buy more gold stocks. GLTAH
