At the AGM it was made clear to me that the mine plan at Portia is an evolving thing.
As further drill results and mining results are known the mining plan will change.
The current focus is on the high grade at the southern cut back.
I believe that there is quite a lot of gold in the bed rock but at a lower grade to that being currently mined.
If the mining switches to the bed rock in a big way the Portia mine life could be extended greatly.
