I read it that blue gums pre-strip is being expensed (C1) as it will be completely mined in the year. Makes sense as it hits the books in the FY anyway.

That is probably why the C1 costs are forecast lower (higher grades with no additional expenditure) as the mining costs of paleochannels aren't much higher than oxide prestrips.
