That I can answer to a point. The Brazzaville to Yaounde road going through and past Mbalam is nearly complete. This is the road I have talked about for years. It is the road that opens up the West Africa to Central African countries. Countries like the DRC, **on, Central African Republic, The Congo Republic and Cameroon will use this road to get produce to a Port in Kribi for export and allow imports to get to these countries in their regions not covered by other ports in country. The road from Sangelema to Mbalam used to take around 13 hours or more because it was dirt track through tropical forest terrain. Even Giulio said it was horrendous to travel it. The Main road has an off shoot to Mbalam and also one towards the Avima Project. This road will also be close to the new hydro dam that is to be built not far from Mbalam around Souanke. Dam name something like Chellelo.

Hi Westcott,
If your assertion is correct, it means that SDL could start to the mine project after securing the equity partners without waiting for the railway and port infrastructure. The latter is only required to reduce the transportation costs in the long-run.
