    I could be wrong here but, to me, it appears that they have some more important and pressing issues in their mind to sort out before talking about drilling new wells.

    Someone IMO could be putting some pressure on someone, and could have started asking questions. So, although it is just a wild guess, be ready to expect the unexpected.
