Here is another company in the USA that runs an active program looking for individual investors. I'm sure that they would have welcomed PSA's money made them a partner on very favorable terms, and the results would have been very good.

In addition, the company IMO is a buy under US$6 a share

There are no lack of well established companies in the USA willing to partner with others that have cash and some of them are very, very good at what they do.
