re: another underperforming quarterly Rosco you have posed the questions and summed up the situation very well.

The bottom line is not that Anvil is under-delivering - or failing to kick goals - or producing weak results.

The REAL problem is the perceptions of those who contribute on this forum.

The company has been managed extraordinarily well -

From the time Anvil went into recess to preserve capital years ago-

To the time the numerically small management group commenced - with minimal capital - mining in the Congo -

To the time share price went from single figures to present valuation.

To commencement of setting up stage 2 infrastructure -

To the clever manner in which management listed on
TSX to provide future capacity to enlarge - all without disadvantaging Australian holders -

    One could go on!

Anvil followers have an understanding of the true worth of Anvil - and potential. We believe!

    Market is much more cautious.

Main cause of people being disgruntled is a perceived lack of PR exposure to Austalian - now Canadian - investors by Anvil management.

    This may be.

But in the end the market will make its own interpretations and evaluation.
"Hyping" up a stock can be counter productive.
Can only be temporary in effect.

So my gut feeling is that the management has concentrated on delivering the goods.

The assumption is that market recognition will come - on market's own terms.

Lack of on-going detailed information from management to share-holders?
When one looks back on posts from Miningnut, Stone Pony and Flats one would be hard put to argue lack of information.

In the end the above mentioned are spot on in anticipating major developments and evaluating progress.

They get frustrated sometimes - wanting to know more about such things as on-going exploration details and negotiations taking place.

In the end the balance is not so bad.
    Quite good really.

So progress of company is tops. Those MOST knowlegable would agree!

Now close to break throughs in profit (after stage 2 ramp up) Greater proved resources (Dikulushi), exploration potential and even Gecamines negotiations.

As always with this company -- patience will be rewarded.

    I believe.

    Cheers
