Good pick-up. It suggests that a gas-water contact was not seen and probably occurred within a shale (non-sand) interval. The decision to TD the well would have been made on intersection of clear water sands but the column could extend several tens of metres deeper than the lowest gas-bearing sand. A critical piece of information for the volumes is whether the structure is a single gas column over all the sand units, which is how the Scott Reef (Torosa) / Brecknock fields are or whether there is more than one column (which would make it smaller but still bloody good!). Exciting stuff and congratulations to all the true believers and long term holders of this stock.
