"The new Commonwealth Government Energy
Policy in “Securing Australia’s Energy Future”
was released in June. Hot Dry Rock electricity is acknowledged as technology in which Australia is a market leader, a direct reflection of progress made by Geodynamics.

HFR geothermal is also cited as a prospective technology to benefit from the Federal Government’s $500 million Low Emissions Technology Fund and the $100 million fund for development and commercialisation of renewable energy technologies".

"Geodynamics Power Systems (GPS) has lodged a provisional patent for a new Kalina Cycle, designed to
improve output by a further 5-10%".


"GPS is participating in a 16MW conventional
geothermal development bid in New Zealand.
Another utility in New Zealand has expressed interest in supply of a Kalina plant for a larger project now in permitting phase".
