for a 30tj/d production, the implication is that annual is 11pj which is less than half the stated annual contract rate of 25pj hence pretax cash flow of less than half the $70 million/yr that people mention that is based on that figure. it is true that in vic there is less gas used for heating houses in summer, but for the gas market as a whole there is also above average gas used in summer for peak load generators to run air conditioners, adelaide for example. even if the winter demand picks up enough to allow make up deliveries, it has to be wondered if the field and or facilities could handle the flows required. maybe the report will clarify.
