Ghost, have a look at DOM's quarterly report then tell me if it doesn't contain market sensitive information, which was not previously released. Some companies like to make individual announcements others bundle it up into the quarterly report.
I’m more in favour of companies making regular market announcements. DOM announced a significant resource upgrade in their June quarterly report and also disclosed a scoping study to enhance production.
That is why some people get excited by quarterly reports, there's much more to it then simply cash flows.
