I should clarify that it is the operating cash flow that I personally placed more emphasis on. Overall net cashflow could still be positive due to the exercise of options by BL.
In its current stage, Alcidion still have a relatively lumpy cashflow profile. This, in itself, limits the assessment of the company using a single quarter information.
In fact, it is the business outlook, other commentary and expected cash outflow for Q2 that would provide more insights.
We know Alcidion were seeking to hire more people. If they still are and this is supported by a higher estimated cash outflow for Q2,it then begs the question why is this so? Particularly so given Kate's reputation for running a lean business back at MKM Health. There are some valuable insights that can be drawn from joining the dots - e.g. postings on career websites such as SEEK.
