HORIZON OIL (HZN)
2019 FINANCIAL YEAR GUIDANCE UPDATE1Owing to continuing strong production from Horizon Oil’s Beibu Gulf and Maari/Manaia oil fields, the Company’s oil sales and revenue for the 2019 financial year exceeded the upper end of guidance. Annual sales of 1.86 million barrels of oil resulted in sales revenue of approximately US$126 million2 (~A$180 million).
Horizon Oil repaid US$35.2 million of its senior debt facility in the June 2019 quarter, with outstanding debt under the Company’s corporate debt facility reduced to US$49.4 million. Net debt at 30 June 2019 was approximately US$30 million. On our forecast debt repayment trajectory3, the Company expects to be in a net cash position in mid calendar 2020.
