Well, that was an interesting quarterly.

Citigold should well be "pleased," which is the word they used, to report that the company averaged gold production of 11.73 ounces a day in the March quarter.

Jolly good work. Well done fellas!

We can all see from that quarterly report how Citigold is on the way to that 300,000 ounces of annual production they keep telling us about.

Here's an interesting thought.

I worked out on my calculator that if Citigold continues producing gold at the rate of the March quarter it will take Citigold more than 71 years to produce 300,000 ounces of gold.

It's a bit unfortunate about that $257,000 in the kitty at the end of the quarter. Never mind. I reckon Citigold will attract some more "sophisticated investors" to put in a few million in the kitty.

After all, with the gold price soaring Citigold can sure lay claim to success at attracting many millions of dollars from "sophisticated investors" over the years. Wonder how satisfied those "sophisticated investors" are? To me it puts a new spin on the description "sophisticated investors."

Let's not forget that Citigold does have a 10 million ounces JORC gold resource - and it's the cheapest valued 10 million ounces of gold going around anywhere in the world, I reckon.
