Deals that involve new technology and or new spending are being delayed across the board around the world. It's the after effects of the GFC as individuals, and businesses, and govts try and repair their balance sheets.

New deals will come - but probably two or three times longer than you are conventionally used to - and this applies to Mark Bouris's expectations as well. This factor is what lies behind unmet expectations.

Australia Post was always going to take longer than you'd reasonably expect to make a decision on big contratc - it's a govt department for FFS!
