Quite a number of the south east Asian countries have a dubious record of inhumane treatment. POL-POT with the Khmer Rouge and the killing fields springs to mind.
On the other hand, places such as Laos and Thailand, the aus copper miner PNA operate quite successfully.
But I still say "stick to the biggest economy in the world" and when that gets up and running then take the calculated risk of other countries.
