Hi Goatpointer (as a holder of MLA) I believe one of the reasons they could be working with MLA in australia is due to the packaging of the autoflushing technology with existing products MLA provide (branded 'Mediflush'). This might assist with getting ALT's product out in hospitals sooner and potentially lead to increased uptake.

as per the 3/07/12 announcement:

"Analytica has granted a license to Medical Australia to include the flushing technology in their products and receives a license fee on a quarterly basis. Medical Australia is responsible for manufacturing, sales, marketing, and regulatory affairs of its products
using Analytica technology."

Cost effective way of breaking into a tough health market. As a MLA holder I hope this works well for both parties.
