I am appalled.
$1.94 C1 for the YTD and they say they will not meet the upper end of guidance due to over-reliance on contractors.
$2.83 total costs per pound of copper. BARELY above the current Cu price.
What good is upping the throughput of the mine if you do not get any economy of scale due to having to hire contractors to achieve it? All you are doing is burning through your orebody faster for no result, and in fact quite possibly a negative result.
I was on the fence for a while but this is the last straw. I will be voting against the rem report again this year.
