What I like about SBB is that they are in the consumer space. In PRC many industries (natural resources/finance/technology) rely on contacts and connections within the Government for licences, royalties etc.

With consumer products there is non of that. The customer isn't the government or SOE's, its ordinary Chinese consumers.

SBB's 2013 revenue of $79m represents hundreds of thousand of Chinese consumer saying 'YES' to SBB's brands.

If average cost per item was $50 - then 1.58m separate purchases of SBB's clothing were made in 2013.....that's a massive vote of confidence in SBB for me.
