In all honesty I don't think if I was in Saudi Arabia I would want to be named as leaking news to the press either. CNBC don't even name their reporter for this.
You need to think about why people don't name themselves and or openly talk to the press, China is a great example of where voicing an opinion without the governments approval is jail-able, in Saudi Arabia - unfortunately I think Jail would be a lenient punishment.
