I've decided to participate and send my cheque for $2.6k.

I find it interesting that, given the importance of the cap raising, they didn't talk up the recent investor update eg the news on Russia could have been a seperate announcement, they could have made bold sales targets, talked up Mexico more etc etc.

To me this says that management are either really stupid, or very confident that the raising will be successful and the company will move forward. I will be betting on the latter.

But yes, it does feel like a gamble rather than an investment.
