You are right in that it is interconnected with the directors. The money was spent on exploration drilling to try and firm up the resource. My take is that they don't want to give up the asset easily and will continue holding out until forced. Need someone new in the board that doesn't have a vested interest. At least the ASX have put them on notice that they are being watched - just wish they would do it with a bigger stick.
