Well actually mjp what I said is 100% correct.
Whilst I was searching for solar / QBO correlation and then finding the Retejum paper I did not digest his comments on angular momentum. I found that Angular displacement had a better fit than the direct sin of the angle.
Later I then noted he did in fact state it. Obviously my terminology is not the same as Retejum. So i did work that part out myself after obtaining the data and then looking for a method to chart the data. no biggie.
I am glad that you and now tinnitus have a year later actually made the effort to read the russian scientist abstract.
It is fascinating that a scientist has said this and when we test his claim I am able to replicate it minus Venus ofcourse.
As I have said earlier here I think. i have replicated the QBO using Venus (as per retejum) but the correlation is not as good.
Hence why I would love access to the full paper which would then divulge his method /application to get the results and conclusion he did.
