Hi All
Long term holder here.
Is it just me, or has QUB gone quiet? After a long history of acquisitions and business building announcements, the only announcement of any substance in >12 months has been the Moorebank sale and lease back (and that has dragged on forever).
In April last year QUB raised $500m for balance sheet flexibility and continued growth opportunities. I get reinforcing the balance sheet was important in the early stage of COVD, but we certainly haven’t seen any “growth opportunities”.
It makes me wonder – is Moorebank all-consuming from a management time and balance sheet capacity perspective – or has the last year and a bit just been about staying tight, progressing what we have and let the global economy simmer down and adjust to the new normal?
To be honest I expect more from what has been a solid investment for me. GS has a 12 month target of $3.72 on it – I’m just not seeing where the step-change is going to come from.
Any thoughts?
