This is about the Andrews Labor Government's Melbourne controversial Suburban Rail Loop.

This comment from the Federal Government's Transport Minister will be of help to QUB as the company bought land at Beveridge, north of Melbourne so it could double stack containers to Brisbane once the Inland Rail line is completed:
"...The Morrison government committed $1.6bn to a facility at Beveridge in the north because it could be delivered in time for Inland Rail, but supported developing both sites concurrently.
Labor promised no funding to Beveridge at the election and slammed the pledge as a “fake commitment”. But the money – as well as the Coalition’s $740m commitment to be matched by the state for the western facility – remained in the October federal budget.
Ms King said she would wait until she received the report to make a final decision, but said “early indications are both are going to be needed”..."
