As with many ASX-listed companies, much QUB capital investment such as increasing automation on the wharves is rarely publicised. If one's lucky, maybe a few words in the annual report.
Here though is one small example of QUB investing in new container wagons, on their delivery run from the Port of Newcastle (NSW) down to Sydney via the famous (and very scenic) 'Short North' portion of the main Sydney - Brisbane rail line:
