The closed rail line between Waterfall, NSW and Thirooul (part of the Sydney - Wollongong - Port Kembla/Nowra (Bomaderry) lines) is now not predicted to reopen until 25 April, as further landslides have occurred near Otford railway station.
This will prohibit QUB steel trains from Melbourne and Brisbane and GNC grain trains to/from Port Kembla until that date, as the other line via Robertson is closed for months due to similar problems.
