The Moss Vale - Unanderra crosscountry line in NSW remains closed until at least August 2022, so QUB steel trains to/from Melbourne's Dynon rail terminal had been diverting via Bowral, Campbelltown, Leightonfield, Sutherland and Wollongong.
However with the very heavy rain in Sydney, the main Sydney - Melbourne line may be affected. Local Cambelltown - Moss Vale railcars remain operating but some freight trains appear to be being held at other locations. Too early to say how badly QUB's vital rail operation will be affected.
