Harvey Norman founder Gerry Harvey says he will not pay back the $6 million JobKeeper subsidy his business received from the government despite the retailer more than doubling its sales and profit for the first half of the year.Mr Harvey said he hadn’t “given much thought” to JobKeeper and the impact on his business, which reported a more than 100 per cent rise in profit over the first half of the financial year and has been a major beneficiary of the COVID-19 pandemic.
