In what could be a game changer for Molopo's investment in St. Lawrence's lowlands shale, the Quebec Gov, which previously implemented a moratorium on shale exploration in Quebec, has just announced a joint venture with 3 oil companies to explore and drill for oil and gas on Anticosti Island.

Still a long way off from allowing drilling on the mainland but sentiment is changing.
