Have booked a trip on the Rocky Mountaineer, its part of the 19-day small group tour, also the 7 day cruise to Alaska. No, I don't fish, but love eating them, oysters, lobster, salmon, trout, any really. I always stay at least 5 days at any destination, not interested in a flying visit. Last year spent 3 months touring Slovenia and Croatia and a week in Venice. I like walking and exploring and getting to know the feel of a place. I'm really looking forward to it. Its going to cost a fortune, but I will never pass that way again. Talking of salmon, did a boat trip on the Franklin River in Tassie, and on Sarah Island came across 3 friends who went on a weeks fishing trip yearly, they showed me the beautiful salmon they had just caught. It was huge.
