    you are right, I cannot understand "Captain Bligh" over the ban on Uranium mining in Queensland particularly with the severe downturn in mining. Even without the downturn it doesn't make sense; travel through Europe particularly France and you will see Nuclear power stations all over the place beside rivers and even near a wine growing area. If you are fair dinkum about reducing carbon emissions in Australia you have to look at firstly gas replacing oil/coal followed by wind/sun but there does need to be a debate about Nuclear in a more rational manner. Nevertheless our trading partners want Uranium which they can get in S.A.,W.A. the N.T. and with the reserves in Queensland why not!! Its time the Captain was voted out!!
