Soon we could see interest in GRV'S Alpha deposit, possibly the richest deposit in Aust at 400 litre/ton. This 100 million ton deposit could contain over 300 million barrels of oil.

Convential retorting produced a test at 400 litre/ton on Alpha but recent tests of other processes have given a 3 fold increase on Nagoorin and Lowmead deposits. Alpha is yet to be retested.
A 3 fold increase in Alpha could tripple oil reserves as well have a big impact on production costs.
This needs time but could be worth the wait.
