it doesn't really matter if the under estimate once the main cat dropdown kicks in. if it's over 250m it may as well keep going to 1bn, some suisse fella will be picking up the tab.
will be interesting to see how many "events" this last week or two is broken into by the reinsurers and how much cover suncorp has left for the rest of the financial year.
