Yes Steve, it's been crazy. For the first time in a long while, the term unprecedented has finally actually been warranted. Very sad, but QLD'ers are tough. I have a friend working on the rescue helicopter (winch/line operator) at Gympie and Maryborough and he says they won't see a peak until tonight at midnight- when the MSM reported this would occur last night, it's a disaster zone. I understand Suncorp trying to remain optimistic about the claims they will see filed, but you can rest assured it will be far worse than the figures presented above.
Expect to see the SP fall further in the coming days.
