I knew what they were, just not sure of spelling…..and they do often have severe erosion in steep country where they run out….not sure at wind farm sites, but why not? Yes, they stop the road eroding, but not so much where they end, or tip the water captured off the road out.
and ok, I take your point about levelled area around infiltrating more water, but does that make up for the extra concreted area run off? Don’t suspect anyone knows really.
