The Clarke Creek wind farm is owned by Squadron Energy which is owned by Tattarang, Andrew Forrest's private investment company. It was being built by Windlab which is 75% owned by Tattarang. It is unclear who will finish building the project but most likely it will still be an Andrew Forrest controlled company.

The Cains News is obviously not in favor of the wind farm projects but they are a bit over the top with their article. No-one will be destroying 100 km of Great Dividing Range, each of those 401 towers will have a footprint which will require earthworks and vehicle access but the EIS will have stopped them from destroying any large trees or endangered habitat during the construction process. There won't be an erosion problem if the sites are on the ridgeline and in a few years nature will have healed any scars anyway just like it does after a cyclone passes through.
