    Infrastructure boost

    The government has allocated $17.1 billion towards infrastructure projects over the next 12 months, including $3.3 billion for roads.

    The Budget will fund the beginning of work on the Port of Brisbane Motorway upgrade, the completion of Gateway Motorway upgrades and the completion of the Ted Smout Bridge to Redcliffe.

    About $550 million is allocated to continue the federally funded Ipswich Motorway upgrade between Dinmore and Goodna.
