    I would think the unemployment remains a flow-on from so many years of Qld labor and fed labor would still be affecting unemployment in Qld.

    If Bligh had run a smart economy she wouldn't have needed to hire so many public servants. Always better to encourage the private sector - that way the government gets more in revenue and doesn't need to spend so much in public servant wages to prop up the employment.

    Shame labor don't seem to understand these simple concepts.

    That said, I agree with you about the pay rise.
