I think you have over baked the cake there Eljay. Gandhi would be set upon by the self-interested malcontents in Australia. It's "What have you done for me TODAY! I know you stopped the boats and drownings, got rid of the CO2 tax and the absurd MRRT, I know you would like to fix the budget too, BUT NOT AT MY EXPENSE!"
No government can be all things to all men, but anything less than that will never be forgiven. How would you like to work in that environment?
