Power from generators is not guaranteed either, how many blackouts occur each year.
Secondly if less people use power the fuel bill for the generators is less aswell as the fact the system is not so heavily loaded. The heavier the loads the greater losses on the system.
So why is it ok for other people in qld to get 44c per KW and now those who installed in the last 18 months get zip? The 44c people should get cut back to 36c per kw and others should get 8c per KW. Is this not discrimination?
And why should the power companies be able to make money off of those who supply power back into the system, its like depositing money in the bank and instead of the bank paying you interest they give you nothing but lend your money out at a huge interest rate.
Not to mention generators run our non renewable resources be they diesel coal gas or nuclear, the more they use the more you pay for these resources. Then their are the environmental benefits of not burning fossil fuels etc...
May your childrens children suck up the pollution you create and if they end up with Leukemia or bone cancer asthma or some other side you can tell them to just suck it up and tell them you were one of the parasites of the Earths resources!
