To get a relationship to the big number by Paul h, and whilst not suggesting a purchase of a rig I am curious to know what the cost of a sizeable rig plus generators,mud pumps, steel cable and others spares that are required to operate a rig. I also mean to exclude such things as site clearance mud dam, drill pipe, surface pad which are are the cost of the well and not the rig. There is also the cost of the drillers wages which are not part of the rig capital cost but an operating cost. Does any have a handle on this number just for clarity sake?
