you ask, "have`nt we already had a CR for Surprise East". the answer is no we have not. if you read the chairmans address from the nov 2012 agm, asx posted 29 nov, it will be abundantly clear that the $11 mil raising from institutions (not shareholders i hasten to add who you will recall mostly boycotted the preceding share purchase plan) made no such commitment. quite the opposite with a no 100% drilling and pursue farmouts roadmap. and in case you are of the impression that surprise e is risk free, think again. rough range 1 in 1953 flowed 400bopd, and maybe up to 10 subsequent appraisal wells were dry. and it seems that one of these drilled a few metres away from the discovery well was non commercial. there is no sure thing. do you really support putting a $10 mil cr on a single shot roll of the dice. again?
