what part of the system would need scaling up?
All large gold mills can crush then grind down the ore to the size required for particle seperation with just the one set of mill gear crusher-SAG mill- ball mill combination.
THat just leaves seperation as the area to be scaled up and there are massive jigs available to, have seen them on the dredges in the South Island of New Zealand and in Peru for alluvial tin mining.
And knelson type concentrators can be huge to.
While they could use a number of smaller units together, (as a battery) would think it easier and cheaper to just build one humungous mill next time unless it goes undergorund as NK presumes.
