imo, oral delivery best left to small molecule drugs (300 to 700 daltens), seems that when you get above 700 daltens (which most 24 hour time release oral small molecule are around 700 daltens) you start to lose potency as the drug does not pass through wall of gastero intestinal tract as well. most if not almost all biologic drugs are injected due to large molecule size. in order for oral delivery in biologics to be feasible there will need to be a breakthrough of some kind that drastically reduces molecule size. imo
