question about dividends, and holdings

Hi all

My girlfriend has a scheme at work where she receives $X of shares from the company she works with per year as apart of her bonus.

She just received her latest allotment the 04/12/2009 which is the "Allocation date" on the statement received

However when i log into the holdings through link, the shares have not yet been allocated to her? how long will this take? She works for Westpac if that helps.

Also if she transfers the holding to a company like commsec so we can sell them when we like, and she recieves another allotment will they automatically get added to that account holding? or will we have to transfer them from link?

And she is signed up for dividend re-investment, when she recieves the extra shares are they automatically added to the holdings or do we have to transfer them manually?

Any help is really appreciated.
